In the downtown 2008, Sam and Mona Awada took a risk. They bought a small, rundown burger shop in Arncliffe, NSW, Australia.

The shop was a little worse for wear. But when Sam first stepped through the doorway, he didn’t see cramped, tired looking shop.

He saw potential.

He imagined his family eating there, laughing under warm bright lights and munching on delicious home made food. He imagined people from all walks of life sharing a meal together.

He pictured bringing smiles on peoples faces. So, Sam and his family jumped into action and began breathing new life into the shop.

Fourteen years later, Burger World is a local meeting place for the young, the old and everyone in between. A place where families gather to grab a delicious bite to eat and laugh together.
